Moonlight on stone. The concept began with a single observation: the same landscape becomes a different place after dark, and almost no retreat is designed for that second version of itself.
The Story Behind The Design
The retreat is imagined as a constellation of luminous forms carved into rugged terrain — pavilions that read as fragments of moonstone scattered across the land. Each is oriented to the horizon, framing sky, rock, and silence as the primary material. The journey unfolds slowly: arrival under starlight, stone-lined thresholds, then interiors where light itself becomes the substance of rest.

It shifts the definition of luxury away from finishes and floor area, and toward atmosphere — the part of a stay guests actually remember and describe to other people.
What Makes It Different
Most retreats are designed for the photograph at midday. This one is composed for dusk, night, and first light, with the landscape left deliberately unlit so the sky can do the work.

Guests arrive in low light, walk rather than drive the final approach, and enter through compressed stone thresholds that open onto the horizon. Days are quiet and unstructured; evenings gather around fire, water, and shadow.
